Pursuits/Proposal Coordinator

CWC is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Pursuit Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications Team. The Pursuit Coordinator's role is pivotal in the success of CWC's brand recognition, reputation, and ability to secure new business opportunities by producing high quality, compliant, compelling, and persuasive proposals that showcase the company's expertise and value to potential clients. This role encompasses collaborating with essential stakeholders and actively supporting the organization's growth objectives by leading pursuit processes and teams, communicating with conviction, and maneuvering a competitive, deadline-driven environment.

This is an immediate opening for a full-time Pursuit Coordinator in Bethesda, Maryland.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Participate in strategy sessions with the larger pursuit team to develop win strategies and determine relevant content to articulate in all deliverables throughout the capture process.
  • Produce winning responses and timely deliverables of qualification packages, proposals, and interview presentations.
  • Meet with Senior Pursuit Manager regularly to track deliverables and deadlines.
  • Organizes and facilitates pursuit meetings (kick-off, reviews, check-ins, final page flip).
  • Maintain proposal content library through collaboration with the Pursuit Manager, Marketing & Communications Executive Director, and internal subject matter experts on content auditing.
  • Work with the Senior Pursuit Manager to gather and input historical data into the CRM.
  • Participate in win/loss debriefs and record feedback to apply to future pursuits.
  • Attend and participate in all Marketing & Communications Strategic Planning meetings and complete all assigned goals.
  • Manage multiple overlapping pursuits and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Attend industry educational and networking functions as appropriate.
  • Position may include administrative support, special projects, and assisting with miscellaneous Marketing & Communications activities.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Strongly Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a Construction/Design related field; or up to 3 years of technical writing/proposal experience required.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently, including ability to handle multiple, simultaneous deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a solid commitment to quality control.
  • Motivated self-starter; analytical; exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High sense of urgency and willingness to take initiative
  • Possess a positive "can do" attitude and always maintain professional attire and behavior.
