Procurement Co-opJob Description Summary
AAM is looking for a talented, self-motivated individual to fill our Procurement Co-op position. This position will report up through our Direct Buy team at our World Headquarters facility in Detroit, MI.Job Description
* Support the Procurement Business Group
* Assist with AAM/Supplier relationship systematically
* Lead coordination of duplicate supplier record consolidation
* Assists with developing system training modules, Job Aids and Training Manuals
* Troubleshoot and assist internal Users with our ERP system
* Assist Suppliers with gaining access and navigating Supplier self-management and Supplier Portal
* Obtain knowledge of department and its operations
Required Skills and Education
* Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Supply Chain program (or closely related program).
* Graduation date of December 2025 or later.
* Able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
* Minimum GPA of 3.0 required..
* Familiarity with basic supply chain principles required.
* Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Prior work/intern/Co-op experience in Supply Chain is preferred
* Must be able to work in U.S. without sponsorship
