Position for a motivated, team player with frequent travel opportunities on a small antenna team located in Welcome, Maryland. Candidate is responsible to assist with the design, analysis and development of cutting-edge RF solutions for aerospace applications from HF to Ka band. Candidates must be US citizens and hold a US Government security clearance.
Responsibilities:
Conducting technical trade studies related to communications links
Defining communications system requirements
Identifying critical technology elements
Performing RF circuit analysis and design
Developing communications subsystem integration and verification plans and procedures
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
1-2 years of experience with aerospace RF and communications system design, analysis, integration, and evaluation
Experience working with large aperture antennas
Experience working with multi-discipline teams (hardware/firmware/software) to produce advanced RF solutions is a plus.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers, management, and peers is required
Candidates must have the ability to develop and analyze technical requirements, perform trade studies, conduct major design reviews (e.g. PDR, CDR)
Extensive/frequent travel required for this position
Experience with RF modeling and simulation tools (e.g. HFSS, Genesys) required
