This position will be a contributing member of the Centracs Mobility Development team that is focused on our hosted cloud offering. The technical needs will need to be heavily geared towards software development, architecture, DevOps support, and troubleshooting the Centracs Mobility product. There is significant development ongoing to grow the system in terms of features, scalability, and robustness.

Our ideal candidate has a background in large enterprise systems, multi-tenant cloud environments, software algorithms, software architecture, and traffic control. Candidates must be able to execute large and/or complex tasks across a wide range of technologies in large enterprise systems.

DUTIES

  • Full stack development of system features and components, such as: backend services, control algorithms, user interfaces, and database interaction.
  • Project architecture, including design, R&D, task breakdowns and descriptions, debugging, code documentation, etc.
  • Performance improvements, performance tracking, improvements to scalability, robustness, and fault tolerance.
  • Technical team leadership of one or more individuals.
  • Mentorship of junior team members.
  • Proactively seek solutions and workarounds to problems without significant oversight.
  • Determine project feasibility and estimates by evaluating requirements, customer feedback, and other source material.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors or Master's degree, preferably in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent from a four-year university, and 6+ years relevant field experience.
  • Experience designing and building complex and scalable software solutions that are released to market, are of enterprise grade, and are maintained and supported for 5+ years.
  • Must have Advanced Traffic Management Systems experience
  • Must be self-motivated active and learner capable to picking up and understanding new technology in a proactive fashion.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT

COMPENSATION

The base compensation range for this full-time exempt position is $120,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year plus benefits. Compensation ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
